About Me

Registered Dietitian Debra M. Joseph

I have over 20 years of experience specializing in individual nutrition and lifestyle counseling. I do not just counsel others about good nutrition.

"I firmly believe to lead by example is to inspire confidence and motivate my client's quest for improved health."

Creating a healthy lifestyle is one of the most important goals you can accomplish.

I will partner with you to develop an integrative plan to help you improve your overall health and well-being in light of your unique medical concerns.

Using my knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, my approach incorporates the

latest nutrition research with personlized one-on-one support and counseling in

order to educate and motivate lifestyle changes. It is all about you!

What is a Registered Dietitian?

The distinct advantage in choosing a credentialed registered dietiian over a "nutritionist" is the experience rendered from formal education and training. Registered dietitians are food and nutrition experts that have achieved:

- At least 4 years of nutrition education from an accredited college or university program

- Successful completion of a post-graduate masters degree or dietetic internship, followed by an extensive exam nationally administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

- At least 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years to stay at the forefront of today's nutrition knowledge.
